Join us for a pre-show concert on the Terrace by the UCLA student and alumni ensemble, the 50/50 Quartet. Led by violinist, composer, and recent UCLA graduate Anna Kouchnerov and featuring Ben Bartelt, Alec Santamaria, Nathan Bernacki, David Mason, Ram Eshwar Kaundinya, Wan Yeung, and Yi Jiu Chang, the ensemble will perform three works by Kala Ramnath, Joan Jeanrenaud, and Wu Man – all contributors to the Kronos Quartet’s groundbreaking Fifty for the Future project.
This event is free, with or without a ticket to the 8pm performance. Doors open at 6:30, 50/50 Quartet begins at 7pm.
